I construct this binder using Vachetta leather, a full grain, veg-tanned cowhide that is tanned in Tuscany, Italy. This superior quality leather is silky to the touch and has a light matte finish that allows the natural character of these flawless hides to show through.
Finished inside and out, my technique produces a book that is stiffer than a paperback, but not as stiff as a hardcover. I use the best quality ring hardware available, which I can replace if it wears out.
Customize your binder with a monogram! I am happy to stamp initials, a name, or whatever your heart desires. Monograms are 1/2 inch tall, ALL CAPS, up to 14 characters, and placed in the bottom right corner on the front cover. I can also have a stamp made of your logo.
