These veg-tanned saddle sheepskin hides are specifically crafted for saddle making. The fur is soft and dense, about 1 inch thick. The leather is naturally vegetable tanned (using tree bark). These hides make a great rug, throw, dog bed or seat cover. These large, excellent quality sheepskins are tanned here in the USA using domestic hides.
